Record high temperatures melted around 5 inches of mountain snow in Montana over the weekend, filling rivers to peak levels, with more than twice that still left. One house was swept into the Yellowstone River on Monday, with cars hit by boulders as visitors raced to escape. Park officials expect the northern areas to remain shut till next year, and haven't confirmed when any parts will reopen yet.
